Sigma Lambda Beta is a social fraternity that was founded in 1986 at the University of Iowa. It is based on cultural understanding and wisdom. We believe in the principles of fairness, opportunity, and in the equality of all men no matter what their race, culture, or ethnicity.

Sigma Lambda Beta was brought to the campus of Southern Illinois University in November of 1996. Since then, we have grown into one of the elite chapters of our Fraternity, as well as one of the most influential organizations on the campus of SIU and the surrounding areas.

With membership at over 100 college campuses across the United States, Sigma Lambda Beta is the largest Latino based fraternity nationwide coast to coast.
