Quilts of Valor presentation at Betacon 2016

Quilts of Valor Recipients at Betacon

All Sigma Lambda Beta men share the same bond of brotherhood, but some Brothers of our fraternity are called to a special bond in service to our country. Brother Shane Hornbeck and the Military Alumni Network have spearheaded the recognition of Brothers who are or have served in the military through the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a nonprofit organization designed to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing handmade quilts of valor. To date, the organization has distributed over 143,000 quilts.

Sigma Lambda Beta was honored to host Quilts of Valor and present six Brothers with quilts at Betacon 2016. If you local are would like more information on how to recognize Brothers through Quilts of Valor, please contact Brother Shane Hornbeck.
