Sigma Lambda Beta Appoints First Director of Donor Development

North Liberty, Iowa– (August 2019) – Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity announces the appointment of Rachel Rayman to their Executive Office team in North Liberty, IA, as the inaugural Director of Donor Development. Ms. Rayman comes with a history of knowledge and experience in nonprofit association management, fundraising, and program development with organizations such as the Hawkeye Downs Speedway & Event Center, National Systems Contractors Association, Center for Alcohol & Drug Services (Davenport, IA) and the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine in a variety of marketing, sales & development roles. Rachel graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Studies from St. Ambrose University (IA).

The Director of Donor Development position is funded through the generosity of the Fraternity’s 86 Club, an alumni supported initiative providing ongoing revenue in support of the collegiate member experience at over 120 colleges and universities from Coast-to-Coast. “I am so excited and honored to be offered this unique opportunity. I am looking forward to how I can help this amazing institution grow and continue to evolve,” states Rayman.

“The 86 Club allowed Sigma Lambda Beta to expand our staff. This is the first position fully funded by alumni contributions,” says Chairman David Ayento. “Rachel will have the opportunity to find new revenue sources to support the fraternity’s national projects such as Betacon, Leadership Institute, and Young Stallions Club.”
