October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To stand in solidarity with those affected by domestic violence and to educate those on domestic violence, Sigma Lambda Beta takes a stand.
At BetaCon 2014 in St. Louis, a resolution was passed by membership to develop education/programming and implement training to help SLB entities work on reducing gender-based violence at their respective campuses.
Since then, the fraternity has been actively working to complete the first part of the leadership’s plan to bring this resolution to a reality. As Beta men, we support the resolution – Rape Is A Man’s Issue.
