Bro. Amir Ismail from the Beta Delta Chapter at Rutgers University – Newark was featured on the Rutgers Business School’s website this week. Bro. Amir, a senior accounting and supply chain managment major, wrote an article for the business school in which he reflected on his time spent in Tanzania, Africa earlier this year.
When reflecting about his trip to Tanzania, Amir describes his experience as a way to see the world through a different lens and proved to him that the world is much bigger than New Jersey.
Furthermore, Amir goes on to say that through his experience in Tanzania, he’s learned a very critical component in his life – the gift of giving back and learning about a community of people different then his own.
